Objective

To find an internship that will forward my knowledge of animation and design practices in a studio setting. Also, to gain experience with both traditional and innovative techniques

    • Introduction to computer animation using the programs: Flash, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Final Cut Pro.

    • Learned a variety of traditional hand drawn techniques, including: hand drawn loops, syncing dialogue,pixilation, cut-out, drawn on film, and paint on glass.

Skills

2D: Drawing- quick concept sketching to refined finished works. Refined skills in observational drawing, artist book/book making, and working knowledge of color theory. Basic skills in live action and animation techniques.

3D: Basic understanding of power tools: band saw, drill press, grinders. Working knowledge in simple model making. Working knowledge of creating realistic latex weaponry.

Computer: Working knowledge of HTML and CSS. Working understanding of Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator, Audacity, Frame Thief, Mag Pie, In Design, and Final Cut Pro. Able to work both with PC and Mac Operating Systems.

Experience

F/A/V Department- Teaching Assistant: Winter Session , Spring 2008 Selected to help in the Intro to Animation Technique class.

RISD Admissions Office- Tour Guide: Spring 2007- Present Provided tours to prospective students and families, trained to answer specific questions about the school.

Yaiwano Program Center- Camp Counselor: August 2007 Lead young girls, planned activities, and responsible of providing the girls knowledge of the outdoors

Other

Asian Culture Association- External Secretary 2007-2008

Member of Asbury First UMYF 2002-2006, provided outreach to the community, as well as travelling in the summer to repair houses, or provide underprivileged children with day camps.

Girl Scout program aid 2001- 2007, mentor to young girls, provided a bridge between them and the adult leaders.

Achievements

International Baccalaureate Diploma- 2006 Internationally recognized higher level high school diploma.
